According to French gaming site JeuxFrance.com, Square Enix is planning on releasing the Nintendo DS remake of Dragon Quest IV in Europe!
Intitled Dragon Quest: The Chapters of the Chosen (losing the number like the VIII'th edition did), will be the start of the trilogy of remakes and the first time any of them have been released in Europe.
Unfortunately there is no date but a vague 2008 release.

Today Square Enix has announced that the Nintendo DS remake of Final Fantasy IV will be making its way to Europe this summer.
John Yamamoto, president and chief executive officer of Square Enix Ltd. comments, "Final Fantasy IV is a benchmark in RPG history. This improved version of Final Fantasy IV is a great opportunity for fans, old and new alike, to experience one of the definitive titles in the Final Fantasy series in an exciting and innovative new way".
Remember this remake is the same as Final Fantasy III but with the added bonus of voice actors!
Stay tuned for more information on this superb Final Fantasy game.

In case you missed out on this great news, The World Ends With You will be released to the streets of the PAL territory on the 18th April 2008 for the Nintendo DS.
If you can't wait that long then head over to the now fully opened European site:
http://www.theworldendswithyou.eu.com

Not the most important news but I thought I would share it with you as their site really does need a new face lift (especially the Japanese one as that is running out of space). So look out for a new layout on the 1st April on the Japanese site and I would also expect it to roll across to the European and North American one.

It was confirmed today by Square Enix that Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift for the Nintendo DS will be making its way to European shores sometime this summer.
John Yamamoto, president and chief executive officer of Square Enix Ltd. comments, “To our fans’ delight, fun strategy gameplay and an engaging story come together in FINAL FANTASY TACTICS A2: Grimoire of the Rift. Nintendo DS users will be able to enjoy a tactical and epic adventure while exploring the world of Ivalice.”
Players take up the role of a young boy called Luso, who discovers a mysterious book while he's tidying up the library, and is transported to Ivalice, where he joins a clan led by a man called Cid, and then fights across the realm summoning Scions and Espers and building up his reputation. There are more than 300 quests, and a "whole new level of party customisation". Perhaps you can move the tables and throw shapes on the carpet.

It looks like we haven't seen the last of the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII set of titles with some interesting information revealed through an interview over at 1UP with Crisis Core director Hajime Tabata.
When asked if the game marks the compilation's finale, he answered:
"No, it does not. The Compilation's finale will take some other form."
Interesting.

Looks like someone has been naughty and decided to release the upcoming album from Yoko Shimomura a week early according to -One Winged Angel- which is suppose to be released on the 26th March 2008.
The album called 'drammatica -The Very Best of Yoko Shimomura-' features songs from her previous work and a bonus track from her upcoming project Final Fantasy Versus XIII.

Part 1 of 4: Let me quickly introduce you to Project Changes, it is a project which I am running to get the entire site updated with a fresh look and add features that you voted for back in the Survey.
So here we are, part 1 and the Topsites has changed! I have just finished today updating the look of the Topsites with a fresh and clean look based on the theme of Zacks Dream (as I like to call it). With the new look comes some well needed changes. First being that you can now see at the top how many members there are and what the ranking method is. Secondly the rating no longer appears on the listings (still in the stats page though), as someone was abusing the system.
So if you haven't already joined, then come and join at:
